Greenlight’s professional staff conducts field investigations to assess site conditions and to support remediation design for the cleanup of environmental contamination.  We provide site characterization and remediation consulting services for a wide range of clients and their projects, including active and former industrial/manufacturing facilities, commercial properties, brownfields redevelopment, and acquisition/divestiture property portfolios. Our environmental expertise has been cultivated over decades of service in geology, hydrogeology, and remediation engineering throughout the U.S.

Our site characterization expertise spans the full range of environmental media, including soil and groundwater investigations, sediment and surface water studies, and vapor intrusion and indoor air assessment.

Remediation design and implementation services include, remedial alternatives development, feasibility studies, pilot testing, design/construction plans, budgetary estimating and permitting.  Greenlight also oversees remedial action implementation, including construction management, operations and maintenance, and performance monitoring.

Greenlight works collaboratively with our clients to develop site assessment and remediation programs that strike the right balance in meeting regulatory requirements, schedules, and financial constraints.

Emerging contaminants are substances of potential toxicity newly identified by environmental regulators. They can pose serious challenges when discovered as part of any site due diligence. These emerging contaminants can refer to many different chemicals including 1,4-dioxane, perchlorate and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Our team is experienced in the identification and characterization of liabilities related to such emerging contaminants, typically partnering with vendors deploying proprietary remedial approaches.
